PHOTOGRAPHER

The most dangerous part of a man is the 6 inches between his ears. And the most gentle, is the 5 inches inside of his chest.

I went through my film today. I went through all my film today. The most beautiful moments happen right in front of me. They all have personalities, names and stories. I walked  through the library of my life. I smiled, and I cried. All the moments I’ve lived, places I’ve been and  people I shared it with.

What I’m realizing is that living in the moment is a play on words too. I’m tired of existing. Not in that way but I not like this. I want to exist right in front of you. I just want to be.

I want my soul to exist in the way that it does. Tethered to source and energy and love. That’s the gift we’ve all been given. That’s the present. Presence.

Maybe one day I’ll do it. Toss my phone over the side and disappear. Find a tree to sit under for the rest of time. I’ll buy leather bound books and a fountain pen. Print out every photo I took and write a story on the back of every one. Read them back to myself one day. Taste salt and smile in appreciation. But I have to let go and this is where I start. Holding on is hurting my soul. I’m rambling now. I think it’s time I ramble on.

So this is it. This is life from my lens, words from my heart and a song from my soul. What does your lens say about you? ZOOM IN, zoom out, tune in, tune out. Whatever you want, it’s yours.

I love you all and Im letting you go
